Working with wool is part of the cultural heritage of Asturias and constitutes one of the traditional skills that have accompanied daily life in rural areas for generations. From caring for livestock to transforming wool into yarn and using it in textiles, this process also reflects a way of life based on self-sufficiency, creativity, and cooperation.
This workshop emerges as a proposal that combines tradition, learning, and experience, bringing participants closer to the artisanal process of wool transformation.
