
The Museo del Jurásico de Asturias celebrates Science Week with a special program led by paleontologist and science communicator Francesc Gascó-Lluna, known on social media as Pakozoico. The day includes the presentation of his new book Extinguiéndonos, a lecture on the paleontological expedition to Níger, and a family workshop to learn how to draw Jurassic dinosaurs.
Program
- 12:00 - Presentation of the book Extinguiéndonos: An essay that explores past extinctions and current environmental challenges. Free admission until full capacity is reached.
- 13:00 - Lecture Spinosaurus and the paleontological expedition to Níger: A first-hand account of the search for fossils in the Sahara. Free admission until full capacity is reached.
- 16:30 - Family workshop: Learn to draw dinosaurs that lived in Jurassic Asturias. Aimed at families with children aged 4 to 11. Prior registration required.
Tickets and Prices
Access to the talks is free until the auditorium reaches full capacity. For the family workshop, it is necessary to purchase a ticket:
- Family group of 2 people: €6 (General: €7)
- Family group of 3 people: €9 (General: €10.50)
- Family group of 4 people: €12 (General: €14)
Note: The workshop does not include admission to the Museum, which is not required to participate in the activity.
