The Centro Municipal Integrado L’Arena is a multipurpose facility run by Gijón City Council, located in the La Arena neighbourhood within the city’s Este district. Under one roof it brings together the municipal citizen service office, social services, a library, a citizen self-service kiosk and a media library that offers the public 16 computers with free internet access, as well as running courses and workshops.

Its sociocultural side rests on an auditorium for 192 spectators, equipped to host talks, screenings, conferences and small-scale theatre productions, and a 96 m² exhibition room split into two areas. The centre rounds off its offer with five multipurpose classrooms holding between 20 and 48 people, and a painting and plastic-arts workshop designed for groups of up to 25.
