About this venue
Parlero (Parḷḷeiru in Asturian) is a parish in the municipality of Villayón, in western Asturias, about 10 km from the municipal capital. It brings together ten villages, among them Bullimeiro, Lagos, Lendelforno, Lendequintana, Balvona and Parlero itself, and agriculture has shaped life in the area for centuries.
The most prominent fiesta is that of Nuestra Señora de la Velilla, on 17 September, joined by the feast of San Bartolomé on 24 August.
