About this venue
The Plaza del Ayuntamiento is the square in Villaviciosa where the town hall stands, and it is also known as the plaza del «Huevo».
The eclectic-style town hall was built in 1906 to a design by Antonio Suardíaz Valdés, based on an earlier project from 1887 by Ignacio Velasco. It has two floors on a square plan, a five-arch portico on the ground floor, balconies with stone balustrades and a tower crowning the roof.
