The Parque de Medal, also referred to as the parque del Medal, is a public park in the town of Vegadeo. Together with the town hall square it forms a notable ensemble within the town; that square has the former Valledor palace on one side, which has been heavily remodelled.
Among its points of interest is the bandstand, built in 1903 thanks to funding from indianos, emigrants who had returned from the Americas. It shows oriental influences, with an octagonal plan, a wrought-iron railing and a roof resting on iron columns. The park is also home to the sculpture Venus Algálica, by César Montaña, which stands next to the monument to the Ferreiro.
