The Parroquia de San Pedro is the parish church of Pola de Somiedo, the town that serves as the capital of the municipality of Somiedo and hosts the headquarters of the natural park. The church dates from the 18th century; its facade is built in ashlar and topped by a bell gable, details that give it a higher-quality finish.
The building also preserves a coat of arms of the Flórez-Estrada family. As the parish church, it is the centre of the town’s religious life.
