The Museo Casa Natal Marqués de Sargadelos occupies the house where Antonio Raimundo Ibáñez (1749-1809) was born, a merchant, industrialist and Enlightenment figure known as the Marqués de Sargadelos, who founded an iron foundry and a porcelain factory. It stands in the hamlet of Ferreirela de Baxo, about two kilometres from Santa Eulalia de Oscos, within the Oscos-Eo and Terras de Burón Biosphere Reserve.
The 18th-century house was restored using period criteria and has traditional rooms and outbuildings such as the forge, the cellar, the washhouse, the hórreo and a bread oven, as well as an exhibition room. The display includes original pieces from the factories he founded. The building also hosts the headquarters of the Asociación Amigos de Raimundo Ibáñez, and workshops are held for people aged six and over.
