The Casa Consistorial of Riosa is the seat of the town council in La Vega, the capital of the municipality, right in the centre of the town. It is a two-storey building erected in 1880 and refurbished after a fire in 1905, in which the Municipal Archive burned, although some documents on the creation of the municipality in the time of Felipe II were saved.

After a restoration in the 1990s, the interior houses an administrative room for serving residents, the secretariat, the mayor’s office, the court and the plenary hall. On the first flight of the staircase there is an inscription attributed to the poet Gómez Manrique, the “Decálogo del Regidor”.
