About this venue
The Plaza de la Reina María Cristina is a square of Renaissance origin in the town of Ribadesella. It is home to the Palacio Prieto-Cutre, a 16th-century building that belonged first to the Prieto family and later to the Cutre family, and which today houses the seat of Ribadesella’s town hall.
The palace facade is built of good-quality ashlar and is organised into a ground floor and three upper storeys divided by impost lines. On the lower level there is a doorway of large voussoirs with a semicircular arch, set towards one side of the front.
