About this venue
Suarías is a hamlet in the parish of Panes, in the municipality of Peñamellera Baja, in eastern Asturias. It lies about three kilometres from Panes, the municipal capital, at an average altitude of 241 metres, and in 2022 it had around fifty inhabitants. A short, easy walking route starts in the village and leads to the Orgalla valley: the path climbs to the top of the mountain that hides the valley, with panoramic views, and then descends to a small trout stream that gives the valley its name.
