About this venue
The Palacio de los Deportes de Oviedo is a multi-purpose sports arena owned by Oviedo City Council. Building work began in 1961 and the venue opened its doors in 1975.
Following a comprehensive renovation that finished on 7 June 2025, its main court is a removable floating parquet floor designed for futsal, handball and basketball, which can be taken up to host concerts and other events. It is also the court where Oviedo Club Baloncesto plays its home games.
