About this venue
Cine Felgueroso is a building in Sama, in the municipality of Langreo, designed in 1954 and opened in 1959. Its elliptical volume was conceived as a singular piece, and when it opened on 4 December 1959 it had 832 seats spread across the stalls, the club section and the main section.
In 2007 the ground floor and mezzanine were renovated, work that earned a runner-up mention at the 19th Asturias Architecture Award; the cinema reopened on 24 July that year and today works as an audiovisual centre.
