About this venue
The Museo Etnográfico de Grandas de Salime “Pepe El Ferreiro” is a museum devoted to the ethnographic heritage of western Asturias, owned by a public company of the Principality of Asturias. It was founded as a museum in 1984 and its permanent collection exceeds 11,000 objects.
The complex covers about 3,150 m² and brings together several traditional buildings, including the Casa Rectoral, built in 1814, and a hórreo with a rye-straw roof built from a grain store dating to 1874.
