About this venue
Umami is a culinary leisure space in Gijón, located on the wall of San Lorenzo beach with views of the sea. Its approach centres on hands-on cooking: one-day classes focused on a specific type of cuisine, lasting around three and a half hours.
It has a kitchenroom where up to 14 people can cook at the same time and a 150 m² event space. According to its website, it also hosts private groups of between 6 and 100 people, and offers live cooking sessions in which a professional chef prepares a menu in front of the attendees.
