LaSalita is an art gallery and workshop in Gijón, on Avenida Manuel Llaneza, founded in 2011 with the idea of bringing the city and art closer together in an affordable, direct way. The space has two parts: an exhibition room with a shop window open to the street and a workshop where art and craft courses are taught for children from the age of five and for adults.

Its courses include drawing, painting, printmaking, illustration, ceramics, sewing, dressmaking and leather craft, as well as creative activities for children. The gallery hosts group exhibitions by the Colectivo LaSalita and runs open calls for artists; in 2026 it marked its fifteenth anniversary with the 15th LaSalita Prize.
