The Campo Municipal de Golf El Tragamón is a semi-rustic nine-hole course in the Gijón parish of Castiello de Bernueces, just under five kilometres from the city centre. Together with La Llorea it forms Golf Municipal de Gijón, which the city council runs through the Patronato Deportivo Municipal; according to the council itself, Gijón is the only Spanish city with two municipal golf courses.
Federated in 2003, the course is a par 68, measuring 5,184 metres from the yellow tees and 4,468 from the red. Its layout is shaped by the course of the Peñafrancia river and poses no great difficulties, which makes it suitable for those taking up the sport. It has a driving range, a golf school, equipment hire, changing rooms and a restaurant with a bar-café.
