The Campo de fútbol de La Laboral is a municipal facility of the Gijón City Council, located in the southern part of the La Laboral sports complex.
In 2020 it was renovated together with the rugby field, and a new hockey field was built as part of the same project. The works enlarged the pitch to meet the requirements of football and replaced the previous turf, which was 15 years old. Because the grounds lie within the surroundings of a building declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, new phases of work require permission from the Principality. As a municipal facility, clubs that want to use it must apply to the Patronato Deportivo Municipal.
