San Martín de Luiña is a parish in the municipality of Cudillero that occupies the central part of the municipality and borders the Cantabrian Sea to the north. With just over 40 km², it is the largest parish in the municipality.
Its parish church, declared a Bien de Interés Cultural with monument status in 2003, holds three 18th-century Baroque altarpieces made by the sculptor Gabriel Fernández Tonín. An inscription on the church floor is addressed to the vaqueiros, a group settled in the upland areas of the district who frequented the parish. A weekly market is held every Tuesday, today the most important in the municipality, and it was revived in 1996.
