Teatro El Llar is the municipal theatre of Corvera de Asturias and stands in the town of Las Vegas. It opened in 2001 and was renovated and enlarged in 2019, raising its capacity from 220 to 350 spectators. The hall combines two self-supporting tiered stands for 160 people with a movable stalls area, which allows shows to be staged in different formats, from a proscenium layout to a circular one, and it has 144 square metres of usable stage space.
The town council regards it, together with La Lechera in Cancienes, as one of the main hubs of cultural life in the municipality, with year-round programming that covers theatre, music, cinema, exhibitions and literary activities.
