About this venue
The Casa de Piedra houses the Casa Municipal de Cultura of Ribadedeva, in Colombres. The building dates from the first decade of the 20th century and was built with wealth brought back from the Americas; the town council opened it as a municipal centre on 14 June 2004.
It brings together the municipal library “Íñigo Noriega Laso”, an exhibition hall, the municipal historical archive, a telecentre and multipurpose rooms. Its programme includes temporary exhibitions, training courses, reading-promotion activities, talks, film series, concerts and theatre.
