The Polideportivo de Barres is a municipal sports facility run by the Castropol town council (Ayuntamiento de Castropol), located in the parish of Barres. Its 44 by 24 metre court can be used for several indoor sports, such as five-a-side football, handball, basketball or volleyball, and it has a storage room that opens directly onto it.
Beside the court there is an adjoining area with changing rooms, a gym, a first-aid room and a control point, with direct access to the court. The two spaces can operate independently, and the building can be used by people with disabilities.
