About this venue
La Casona is the municipal public centre for culture and reading in Campumanes (Campomanes), in the municipality of Lena. It belongs to the Lena municipal library network, run by the town council, together with the Biblioteca Municipal Ramón Menéndez Pidal, in La Pola, and the Centro de Lectura in Villayana.
Besides its work as a reading centre, La Casona hosts cultural activities open to the public. In September 2022, for example, the Asociación de Vecinos de Campumanes organised there the presentation of the book «La leyenda del oso y el buey», by Xulio Concepción Suárez.
