About this venue
The church of Santiago Apóstol is the parish church of the village of Boal, in western Asturias, and belongs to the Villaoril deanery. It was built between 1831 and 1837 and inaugurated in that final year, well into the 19th century.
It is a granite building with a Latin cross plan and a side porch. It stands in the central part of the village, on the Plaza de la Iglesia.
