The Biblioteca Pública Municipal Cardenal Cienfuegos is the library of the Belmonte de Miranda town council, in Belmonte. It is organised into a children’s and young adult section and an adult section, and offers lending and returns, in-library consultation, an online catalogue, guidance on using its resources and the issuing of the user card required to access its services.
It rounds out its activity with cultural outreach programmes: digital lending of e-books and audiobooks through eBiblio Asturias and of films and documentaries through eFilm Asturias, a book-exchange point, the Casita de los libros, located in the town’s children’s park, and a small book market whose proceeds go to the library itself.
