About this venue
The Biblioteca de La Luz is one of the four libraries that make up the Avilés Municipal Public Library Network, headed by the Biblioteca Bances Candamo and completed by the La Carriona and Los Canapés branches. It is located on Plaza Fray Junípero Serra, in the La Luz neighbourhood, and opened its doors in 1978.
It has an adult room and a children’s room, the latter with its own weekday afternoon hours, as well as an area for periodicals and internet access.
