The 35th edition of this festival, declared of Regional Tourist Interest, celebrates the culture of cider and apples with a program that runs from August 20 to August 30. During these days, the Jardines de la Reina host the Cider and Apple Market, becoming the main meeting point for lovers of this tradition. 🍎
Program of activities
The event kicks off with energy in the Plaza Mayor and moves through various iconic locations:
- August 20: 17:30, Plaza Mayor, 33rd Cider Pouring Contest.
- August 21: 18:00, Playa de Poniente, Simultaneous Cider Pouring Record.
- August 21: 22:00, Plaza Mayor, Cancios de Chigre ‘Un de Grao’.
- August 22: 12:00, Plaza Mayor, Homemade Cider Contest.
- August 22: 21:00, Plaza Mayor, Cancios de Chigre.
- August 23 (Cider Day): 12:00, Plaza Mayor, Golden Barrel Award Ceremony, Tasting, and Golden Praise Award.
