35th Chestnut and Orchard Products Contest. Parres

Arriondas celebrates a new edition of the Chestnut and Orchard Products Contest, a traditional event dedicated to seasonal gastronomy and Asturian customs.

For several days, the town hosts a varied program of activities that includes live music, pipe band parades, gastronomic competitions, livestock exhibitions, and popular tastings.

🌰 Featured Program

• Gastronomic days: from October 26 to November 6, enjoy the “Chestnut Pintx” in the area’s hospitality establishments.
• Saturday, October 31: children’s cider-pouring workshop, literary presentation at the Casa de Cultura, and opening proclamation followed by a concert.
• Sunday, November 1: parade and gathering of pipe bands, followed by the homemade cider contest.
• Main weekends: exhibitions of animals from the municipality, food market, award ceremony, and the traditional popular amagüestu with musical performances.
