XXXIX International Costa Naviega Crossing

Navia hosts a new edition of the Travesía Internacional Costa Naviega, one of the great hiking events in western Asturias and a Fiesta de Interés Turístico del Principado de Asturias. This popular march traverses some of the most iconic landscapes of the Navia coast, combining nature, sport, and camaraderie in a setting of great beauty.

About the route

The crossing, of about 20 kilometers, is part of the Senda Costera de Navia, the oldest in the network of Coastal Paths of the Principality. The itinerary includes notable stops such as the Reserva Natural de Barayo, Puerto de Vega, the beach of Frexulfe, Coedo, La Bragada, and El Moro, until reaching Navia. The route is signposted as GR-E9 / PR-AS 293 and has the recognition of Blue Trail.

Registration

Participation is open to thousands of people each year. Registration can be done from May 31 to June 12 (from Monday to Thursday, from 19:00 to 21:00) through the official platform. The registration fee is 5 euros.
