XXX Festival of the Official Status of the Asturian Language in Bimenes

The XXX Festival of the Official Status of the Asturian Language in Bimenes is a festive and protest day that celebrates the Asturian language, traditional culture, and music in the heart of Martimporra. It is a unique opportunity to enjoy the Asturian identity in a popular and welcoming atmosphere. 🎶

Program

The day is divided into two main stages:

Plaza de Miranda de l Douro

• 12:30: Institutional speeches.
• 12:45: Opening speech by Sonia Fidalgo.
• 13:15: Dance of the Official Status.
• 13:30: Parade with Los Sidros, Grupu Folklóricu Los Yerbatos, and Pauliteiros mirandeses.

Prau del Palaciu del Marqués de Casa Estrada

• 14:00: Traditional dance.
• 14:30: Popular picnic (you can bring food from home; prior registration at the Casa Conceyu until June 30).
• 16:00: Performance by Xiranda Brass Band.
• 21:00: Popular dinner.
• 23:00: Concert by Los Berrones.
• At the end: Dance with Llamedo Eventos.
