The 16th Transhumance Pilgrimage is held at the Lagos de Saliencia, offering a festive day that integrates livestock tradition with folklore, local gastronomy, and live music. The event stands out for its natural setting and festive atmosphere, bringing together residents and visitors in an outdoor celebration.
Program
- 13:00: Opening speech by José Luis Álvarez Almeida, president of Hostelería de España, followed by a performance by pandereteras from Somiedo.
- 14:30: Country-style lunch with a menu choice of spit-roasted lamb or ribs, both accompanied by criollos, dessert, drinks, and bread.
- Verbena: Featuring music by the duo Gabino Show.
The organizers will set up a tent with tables and chairs for the comfort of attendees. The price of the meal is 35 € and advance booking is required by calling 620 864 664.
