The renowned artist and image theorist Joan Fontcuberta presents an extraordinary inventory of rare and unique corals at the Centro Niemeyer in the exhibition Corales. Lo que Darwin pasó por alto, curated by Antonio Tabernero.
In this exhibition, Fontcuberta revisits places to photograph corals that went unnoticed by Darwin, speculating on how their evidence could have influenced the formulation of the Origin of Species. The work reveals the unprecedented beauty of organisms whose preservation is threatened by climate change.
