In this workshop, we will talk about the concept of “travel” in the Middle Ages, communication routes, transport, inns, hostels and hospitals, pilgrims and their most characteristic elements, as well as explaining how churches and cathedrals were built. Finally, we will create our own cathedral, similar to San Salvador de Oviedo, all based on Living in Medieval Asturias , a large-format knowledge book that uses simple language adapted for children to talk about life in the Middle Ages, with special references to life in Asturias.
