The Banda de Música Ciudad de Oviedo offers an open-air concert as part of the “Vive la Banda” summer series, which fills the city’s streets and squares with music during the summer months. This ensemble, composed mostly of teachers and advanced students from the Conservatory, will perform on Wednesday, July 29 at 19:00 on Calle Milicias Nacionales.
Access to this performance is completely free, allowing you to enjoy one of the most veteran groups in the Asturian capital in a family-friendly atmosphere.
About the ensemble 🎺
The Banda de Música Ciudad de Oviedo was born in 1992 during the Desfile del Día de América en Asturias. Currently, it is a non-profit entity that maintains an agreement with the Ayuntamiento de Oviedo, which allows it to carry out more than sixty annual performances throughout different parts of the city.
The “Vive la Banda” series is the perfect opportunity to hear their repertoire live in a relaxed setting, taking advantage of the July and August evenings.
