Vive la Banda 2026

The Banda de Música Ciudad de Oviedo offers an open-air concert as part of the “Vive la Banda” summer series, which fills the city’s streets and squares with music during the summer months. This ensemble, composed mostly of teachers and advanced students from the Conservatory, will perform its repertoire this Wednesday, July 29, at 19:00 on Calle Milicias Nacionales.

Access to the concert is completely free and is open to all members of the public who wish to enjoy a musical afternoon in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. 🎶

This group, which was born in 1992 during the Desfile del Día de América en Asturias, is a non-profit entity that maintains intense cultural activity in the Asturian capital. Thanks to its agreement with the Ayuntamiento de Oviedo, they perform more than sixty shows annually, establishing themselves as one of the most veteran and active ensembles in the city. 🎺
