VII Trail del Tamburieḷḷo. Valdés

The village of Setienes, in the council of Valdés, hosts the 7th edition of the Trail del Tamburieḷḷo, an exciting mountain race that combines sports, nature, and landscapes of the western Asturian coast. The event, which will serve as the Asturian Mountain Championship, offers two courses of 10 and 22 kilometers, with start and finish in Setienes, just a few kilometers from Luarca.

The day also includes a charity kids’ race, music, a traditional fabada stew lunch, and a dessert contest, with the participation of the residents of Setienes.

Friday, March 19

• 18:00 h. Start of bib number collection.

Saturday, March 20

• 08:30 h. Bib number collection.
• 10:00 h. Start of the 22 km race.
• 10:30 h. Start of the 10 km race.
• 14:45 h. Award ceremony.
• 15:00 h. Traditional fabada stew lunch and dessert contest.
• 17:30 h. Charity kids’ race.

ℹ️ Practical information

Registration will open on December 20, 2026 through the official website of the event. Registration includes a bib number, runner’s bag, refreshment stations, changing rooms, showers, and access to the traditional fabada stew lunch. The kids’ race is free and non-competitive in exchange for a non-perishable food item for the Red Cross.
