La Travesera is a spectacular mountain race that crosses the heart of the Parque Nacional de los Picos de Europa. This demanding challenge tests runners with a 74 km course, accumulating a positive elevation gain of 6,560 meters and a negative elevation gain of 6,585 meters.
Program
The competition begins on Friday with the reception of participants at the Feria del Corredor in Arenas de Cabrales. The main event takes place throughout the day on Saturday, starting at dawn in Covadonga and culminating in Arenas de Cabrales after a technical and demanding route through the most iconic landscapes of the Picos de Europa. The day ends with the awards and trophy ceremony for the outstanding runners.
