TRAMARES. Weaving reefs. Cantabrian Crochet outreach workshop

About the event

Can you imagine learning about the beauty of the seabed while you crochet? This is a unique opportunity to combine science, mathematics, and the traditional art of crochet in a creative and collaborative environment.

The TRAMARES. Weaving reefs. Cantabrian workshop invites us to create a deep-sea coral reef of the Cantabrian Sea, inspired by the original project from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. It is an ideal activity to approach scientific outreach in a different and very special way. 🧶

The event will take place on April 13, 2026, at 17:00 at the Centro Municipal Integrado Pumarín Gijón Sur. The activity is completely free, although it has a limit of 12 spots.
