The Txikijazz festival programs Tela sonora at the Teatro Victoria Eugenia, a cine-concert featuring animated short films by Brazilian directors. Electronic and contemporary music, indigenous songs, and field recordings from tours across Brazil accompany a journey that goes from the streets of São Paulo to the Amazon rainforest.
It is performed by ARFI, a jazz and improvised music collective founded in 1977, featuring Xavier Garcia and Jérôme Lopez (computer and effects). The audience sits on the stage.
