Family theater: The Botanical Travels of Ms. North

About the event

Do you fancy a different plan to enjoy with the family surrounded by nature? This weekend, the Jardín Botánico Atlántico de Gijón invites us to a very special encounter with history and botany through a unique theatrical proposal.

The play introduces us to the famous 19th-century explorer, Marianne North, who arrives at the garden to celebrate the historic opening of the space belonging to her great friend, don Florencio Valdés. It is a fantastic opportunity to discover her fascinating travels and learn about the world of trees in a very close and fun way. 🌿

The event will take place at the Jardín Botánico Atlántico de Gijón and will feature the participation of Paula del Estal (Proyecto Soy Semilla). The proposal invites all spectators to tour the grounds to identify the species that live there.
