Afternoon of Dance at Danza al mou Xixón (XIV Alcuentros de Músiques Asturianes)

Get ready for an afternoon full of rhythm and tradition where you are the star! This date with Asturian dance and music is the perfect opportunity to let loose, learn new steps, and enjoy a vibrant day in the best company. 💃

The event will be held today and is open to everyone, regardless of your dance level. The only thing you need is a desire to have a good time!

Program of the day 🎶

The afternoon will begin with energy and lots of movement:

• 19:00: Dance workshop with Nel Villanueva, accompanied by the association Muyeres por Grau. It doesn’t matter if you have a lot or a little rhythm, come on and dance a bit!
• 20:00: Leirana. A musical project led by multi-instrumentalist Nel Villanueva, together with Satur Vega and David Fernández, designed to enjoy loose and partner dancing with instruments such as the accordion, bagpipes, and electric guitar.
• 21:15: María Trubia & Pau Santirso. A participatory show where the audience will be able to learn and accompany traditional melodies through singing, dancing, and the use of pandeiros.
