Description
We invite you to explore the cyanotype technique and discover the Botánico as an artistic resource. It is a handcrafted photographic printing process that reacts to sunlight to capture the silhouette of plants and flowers in their characteristic blue tones (“Prussian blue”).
During the session, we will take a tour of the Botánico to identify and collect elements that we will use in our compositions. Next, we will prepare the photosensitive material on paper, follow the appropriate steps to create compositions (photograms), and develop the materials, obtaining unique pieces inspired by the nature of the surroundings.
Registration
- Platform: Registration link or through the Gijón APP (available on Android and Apple).
- Requirement: It is essential to register each person (both adults and minors) who wishes to participate individually.
- Important note: A maximum of 2 accompanying adults is allowed for each minor.
Important information
- Minors without DNI: They can be registered using the details (DNI number and date of birth) of an adult who is not already registered for the activity. Subsequently, it will be necessary to contact the Botánico by phone at 985 185 130 to provide the minor’s actual details.
- Status of the spot: Upon completing the payment, the spot must appear as GRANTED with an assigned application number. If it appears as ON WAITING LIST, it means you are on the waiting list; if a cancellation occurs, you will be contacted in strict order of registration.
- Payments and refunds: The deadline to make the payment is 1 day from the moment of registration. No refunds are accepted unless the activity is cancelled by the organization.
