Portrait Workshop with Luigi Gámez

Workshop Program

The course is designed to cover everything from the fundamentals to more advanced techniques throughout the weekend:

Saturday, April 18

• Morning: Basic facial anatomy, study of highlights, mid-tones and deep shadows, and a monochromatic portrait exercise.
• Afternoon: Color theory, study of glazes, and a portrait exercise using glazes.

Sunday, April 19

• Morning: Composition and balance, work on details and textures, backgrounds, and a wet-on-wet portrait exercise. 🖌️
