Workshop description
This workshop proposes a practical immersion into the research process that gave rise to Toys in the Attic. Based on movement and stage creation, some of the fundamental tools that went into the production of the piece will be shared, not as a closed method, but as an open field of exploration.
The practice is articulated through the intersection of improvisation, thought, writing, and movement, understood as materials that contaminate and activate each other. Toys in the Attic builds an ambiguous space, sustained by a precise quality of movement: where the bodies that inhabit it remain in constant transformation.
This workshop proposes to travel the path necessary to build one’s own language from scratch, focusing on decision-making and listening as a motor for creation.
