Workshop description
Aimed at professionals and individuals interested in stage creation and mediation (ages 16 and up). This workshop is a space to explore how biography, whether one’s own or another’s, can become a driving force for stage creation.
Tools, procedures, and work examples will be shared that allow for the transformation of biographical materials into diverse projects, ranging from stage pieces to proposals for mediation, participation, or community work. The session will alternate between brief explanations and practical exercises so that each participant can test methods and discover their own creation strategies.
About the speaker
David Montero has developed a career where the autobiographical leads into the political. Through his experience in the trilogy that includes El tiempo del hijo and his artistic mediation project Turismo interior, the workshop will address how to work with sensitive materials, understanding the dangers and advantages of using personal experience as a catalyst and symptom of social and political issues.
