Johanne is a girl who falls deeply in love with her French teacher, experiencing her first intense love. Wanting to preserve her feelings, the young girl documents her emotions and experiences in writing. When her mother and grandmother read it, they initially react with surprise at its intimate content, but soon become captivated by its literary qualities. While debating the morality and possible consequences of publishing Johanne’s writings, she navigates the contrast between romantic ideals and reality, immersing herself in a journey through the intense emotions of self-discovery, love, and sexuality.
