Sorrow: Kindertotenlieder — song cycle by Gustav Mahler (1860–1911) based on poems by Friedrich Rückert (Songs on the Death of Children), premiered at the Musikverein in Vienna in 1905. Featuring baritone Jacques Imbrailo and the Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias.
Suor Angelica — one-act opera by Giacomo Puccini (1858–1924) with a libretto by Giovacchino Forzano, premiered at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York in 1918. Premiere at the Ópera de Oviedo and a new house production. Featuring Beatriz Díaz (Suor Angelica), Ana Ibarra (the Princess), and María Heres (the Abbess).
