Angel Martin will put on the tables of Mieres Centru Cultural (MCC) his most acidic and lucid show to date: We Are Monkeys. A proposal that mixes comedy and reflection to remind us that, although we believe to be very evolved beings, sometimes our behavior shows the opposite.

Through everyday examples –from opening the fridge to store something from the closet, to needing a tutorial to fry an egg—Angel Martin puts on the table how easy it is to live on autopilot in times of the internet. And although laughter is guaranteed, so is reflection: do we really think less than before?, or is it that, little by little, we have been turning off as a species? With his unmistakable critical and ironic style, Martin proposes in We Are Monkeys a brain reactivation, although to achieve it, we have to step on more than one puddle.
