Mythological Beings in the Light is a participatory workshop that combines tradition, contemporary art, and creativity through an immersive experience of light painting. The main objective is to bring the public closer to Asturian mythology from a playful, innovative, and educational perspective, using modern visual techniques as a tool for cultural expression.
During the workshop, attendees will discover and explore the possibilities of light painting, a photographic technique that allows you to “draw with light” in long exposures, generating unique and magical images. Through a series of guided exercises, they will learn the basic concepts of handling lights and cameras, and will develop practical and artistic skills.
The activity culminates with the creation of portraits and scenes inspired by iconic characters from Asturian mythology, such as the Xana, the Trasgu, the Nuberu, or the Cuélebre.
