SARA ÁGUEDA. MúAX 2026

Would you like to discover what the world sounded like through the eyes and voice of women in the 16th century? I invite you to enjoy Ellas renacen, a fascinating proposal where the performer Sara Águeda transports us to the Renaissance to rescue the music and stories of women who, like Isabel de Plazaola, were protagonists of a musical tradition that has been little visible until now. 🎶

In this concert, the artist plays the double-strung harp—one of the most emblematic instruments of the Golden Age—while giving voice to ballads and songs that speak in the feminine. It is an authentic historical fantasy, documented with rigor and great sensitivity, that allows us to learn about the role of educated female musicians who were part of the elite circles of the time.

Tickets and access

Advance ticket sales will be available at entradascultura.gijon.es starting on June 22. Please keep the following details in mind to organize your visit:

• Advance sales for each concert close on the day of the performance at 1:30 PM.
• The CCAI box office will open at 5:00 PM, selling tickets exclusively for the day of the concert.
• The reduced price is only applicable at the box office, upon presentation of an identification document.
• You must present your ticket (digital or printed) at the entrance for validation.
• Refunds are not provided, except in the event of show cancellation.

Important information for the public 🏛️

So that everything runs smoothly, we ask that you keep these rules of conduct in mind:

• Access queues must form outside the building, next to the door on Calle Jovellanos.
• Once the concert has begun, access to the hall will not be permitted.
• During the performance, access to the first-floor corridor is not permitted.
• It is necessary to follow the instructions of the CCAI public service staff at all times.
